About Me

Dance Physics
Joyce Gyimah is the creative and strategic driving force behind Dance physics. Her training began at Lewisham college followed by degree level study at The Laban Centre for Movement and Dance, Joyce has worked as a freelance dance artist and manager for a range of dance institutions and organisations including Laban, Greenwich Dance Agency, Greenwich Musical Theatre, Union Dance, UK Foundation for Dance and Tavaziva Dance. As a performer Joyce has worked with a variety of small to mid scale companies including Adzido and Martial Dance. With over 10 years experience in dance management, consultation and delivery Joyce's strengths are in motivation and communication while understanding the challenges that face organisations and emerging artists. She is an advocate of dance and other forms of physical activity. Her experience working in the dance sector as an artist and manager has helped her develop innovative and creative thinking from a unique perspective. Joyce is a member of the Independant Dance Management Network (IDMN)

The Agency

Freelance professionals: become a member of the Dance Physics freelance pool. You will be engaged on a freelance basis to deliver a range of movement based projects and residencies, working with schools, colleges, organisations and institutions.

Organisations: can hire quality dance teachers, with enhanced CRB disclosures for long term and short term projects.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are great for that 1-1 attention you need. We offer 1-1 sessions in a range of styles from Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Street Dance and much more.
Sessions cost £60 per hour and include studio hire.
